Most of us might be thinking about getting away from it all – heading off to enjoy some time with friends or family, where we can forget all of the everyday hassles for a week or two (or maybe more!). But before you pack your bags and disappear, a little check list of things to do, might prove helpful.
Travel supermarket suggests 10 things:
- Ensure you have a valid passport
- Ensure you have all the essential documents for your trip
- Make sure you know your luggage allowances
- Lock all the doors and windows
- Check your route to the airport and pre-book a parking space
- Buy your travel insurance and get an EHIC if you are going to Europe
- Order your travel money
- Inform your credit card company before you go abroad
- Sort out pet care
- Pre-book your airport transfer
These seem pretty sensible. We think you should add a couple of things to this list.
- Get that manicure and pedicure booked
- Add a hair cut
- Maybe a colour
- Definitely a spray tan
It's great to be sensible about your holiday plans, but you want to look good when you're away, too.
